Featuring paintings and other decorative works, the mother-daughter exhibit showcases their art side by side in a vibrant collaboration of color and texture. Amanda Dunbar, a graduate of Allen High School, started painting at the age of 13, and soon went on to gain success nationally. She is inducted into the Governor's Texas Women's Hall of Fame. She has appeared in numerous TV shows including the Oprah Show. In 2007, ABC World News profiled her as a "Person of the Week". Judith Dunbar explores oils, acrylics and mixed media in a more abstract and intuitive direction. Her art, while being representational, is without form, creating a visual world where reality is mixed with images from her memory and fantasy.
